Precise and reproducible
The relative standard deviation achieved on dispensed weights is dependent on powder properties, however ≤ 2% RSD is typically achieved.
Easy to clean
All dispensing nozzle tips are made of stainless steel and can be detached and dismantled in seconds — effortless cleaning with solvents, sonic baths or autoclaves.
Ergonomic
The lightweight handle allows easy and fatigue-free dispensing, ideal for glove box use. The handle connects to the compact controller unit via a flexible vacuum pipe.
No cross contamination
A rapidly exchangeable, low-cost cellulose filter is incorporated in the delivery line of the pipette. Change the filter when changing samples to avoid any risk of cross contamination.
Versatile
The dispensing volume for each handle is manually adjustable and multiple handle sizes can be used with each controller unit — a wide powder volume range from one instrument.
Simple
Operated via a three-position switch (fill – off – dispense) on the hand piece. Push the nozzle into the powder and press up to fill, remove and press down to dispense.

How it works
Vacuum in. Pressure out.
The GamPette is a handheld powder pipette in three parts: a compact controller unit, a lightweight dispensing handle and an interchangeable stainless steel nozzle. Powder is drawn into the pipette tip under vacuum and expelled under light positive pressure.
Dispensing volume is set on the nozzle’s micrometer barrel, so once dialled in for your material, every fill delivers the same weight. Vacuum and dispense air flows are adjustable on the controller unit.
Set the dispensing volume
Slacken the locking ring, screw the micrometer barrel to the required position and re-tighten. The scale lets you return to a known setting for each material.
Fill under vacuum
Insert the dispensing tip into your sample and move the rocker switch to ▲. Powder is drawn up into the nozzle under vacuum. Withdraw and wipe excess from the tip.
Dispense under light pressure
Move the switch to ▼ to expel the exact set volume, then return it to neutral. Ready for the next fill.
Adjust to hit your target weight
Dispense onto your weighing balance, check the weight, and adjust the barrel iteratively until you are hitting the desired weight. Then dispense repeatedly at that setting.

GamPette performance is dependent on powder properties and the target powder mass. Trials carried out on a range of powders have found that ≤ 2% RSD is typically achieved.

Phase 1 and 2 capsule manufacture
A multinational pharmaceutical company has been using a single GamPette with six nozzles since 2024 for small-scale manufacture of Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trial capsules — dispensing accurate doses by hand with limited quantities of API.
Potent API handling in a glove box
